Swan Institute Australia Student Services promote the highest quality academic and personal achievement through the provision of professional, relevant and client-centred services to its students, staff and wider community.


The Student Services Officer is our friendly first point of contact for all student queries regarding a range of matters including: social, financial, personal, and academic as well as the well-being of all students.

Student Support Services at Swan Institute Australia offer a range of support services and programs that complement the study experience and promote links with the broader community.

The Student Services Officer provides direct internal support and assistance in relation to:

•   Student Orientation

•   Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

•   Accommodation

•   Grievance (see Complaints & Grievance Procedure)

•   Equity and Fairness

•   Academic Support

•   Liaison with external agencies

•   English language assistance

•   Career and employment information

•   Student Cards

•   Smart Rider

Student Services Officer also assists students with external professional support by means of referrals to a range of various services providers. Please note that for these services the student maybe required to make a direct payment, where applicable, directly to the service provider. These include but not limited to:

•   Medical Services including GP and Specialists

•   Financial Services

•   Therapeutic Counselling Services

•   Justice of Peace Service

•   Sporting Clubs

•   Social Events

•   Legal Services


The Swan Institute Australia Student Counselling Services provide professional and confidential services free of charge to students of the college to support students’ wellbeing and academic success. The college has adesignated counselling room in the first floor that secures the privacy and confidentiality.  

We recognize that there are a range of personal and academic concerns which can impact upon your ability to study effectively. Our aim is to help you better manage these concerns and to continue and succeed with your study. The counselling services are provided in a number of areas by our well trained professional student counsellor who has Degree in Psychology:

The services are available between 8:30am to 5:00pm on week days.
